In the presence of Dr. Ayman Ashour, Deputy Minister of Higher Education for University Affairs, Prof. Dr. Atef Hussain, Vice-Chancellor for Education and Students, and Professor Dr. Ihab Al-Beblawi, Dean of the Faculty of Disabled Science and Rehabilitation
The establishment of Student Service Centres for Students with Disabilities is extended to the five centres already located in Cairo, Ain Shams, Alexandria, Assiut and Mansoura... This success has helped to provide a sustainable model for disabled students' service centres throughout the Republic
These centres set up databases to identify the number of people of determination on campus and classify the type of their disability; develop uniform systems, procedures and policies to ensure appropriate facilitation for all students of different colleges within each university; and the establishment of a department to follow up students' complaints within centres of determination, as well as to communicate and coordinate with other campus units.
It is worth mentioning that the service center for students with disabilities has been allocated its place in a building (b) The Faculty of Science for Disabled Persons and On-Campus Rehabilitation will support the building of cadres, assist and supervise the implementation and management of the Student of Determination Service Center model. The trainings include training in Egypt and in the United States of America on a 10-day study tour with an American university.

Protocol of cooperation between the University and the Adult Education Authority

Under the auspices of His Excellency Professor Osman Shalan, Rector of the University, a cooperation protocol was signed today between the University and the Eastern Adult Education Authority.
The Faculty of Science for Persons with Disabilities and Rehabilitation renewed the cooperation protocol through A. Dr. Reza Husseini, Undersecretary of Graduate Studies and Research, in the presence of A. Djihan Yisri, Vice-Chancellor of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, and A. Amr Shalan Director of the Sharqiya Branch Adult Education Authority.
This Protocol is based on the political leadership's support for the national literacy project and the implementation of the directions of the Supreme Council of Universities; To tackle the problem of illiteracy by investing the potential of university youth, aligning with what our precious Egyptian vision of 2030 for sustainable development aspires, and continuing the success of Zagaziq University in the field of adult education and learning over the past period.

Professor Dr. Osman Shalaan, Rector of the University, witnessed the signing of a joint cooperation protocol between the Faculty of Disability and Rehabilitation Sciences and the Faculty of Computing and Information, which includes the scope of the cooperation protocol's work in a number of common areas:
The scientific partnership between faculty and associate faculty members in undertaking joint research and research projects in the field of artificial intelligence in the field of disability. One of the most important aspects of cooperation was the development of the university's website in order to comprehensively access all visual, auditory and mental disabilities.
The joint cooperation also included the establishment of a laboratory to develop devices and tools to assist persons with disabilities in accessing these services easily and independently and the development of digital learning mechanisms for persons with visual, auditory and intellectual disabilities and those with autism and learning disabilities through graduation projects between the two faculties students in the final squad in order to serve persons with disabilities and open specialized laboratories of the Faculty of Science of Disabilities and Rehabilitation to students of the Faculty and Information ulty to recognize the nature and characteristics of each disability and how to develop creative ideas. as well as the work of an annual inter-college exhibition at the end of the year to showcase the joint work done by students
Directing postgraduate students to conduct master's and Ph.D. theses in colleges in departments of common interest that can benefit persons with disabilities, and jointly supervising scientific theses of common interest to maximize the use of expertise in both fields.
The Protocol was signed by Prof. Dr. Ihab Al-Bebalawi, Dean of the Faculty of Science for Persons with Disabilities and Rehabilitation, and Prof. Dr. Amal Farouk Abdul Jawad, Dean of the Faculty of Computing and Information
This protocol comes within the framework of the University's desire to strengthen links and deepen cooperation among the faculties of the University, which has an impact on the development of the educational process and deepening its links to the use of information technology to support and empower students with disabilities in the fields of education.
